Kat Baulu grew up in Barbados, on her parents' monkey reserve. She moved to Canada to become a veterinarian, but after fainting at the first sight of blood, ended up going to film school instead. Reefs: Rainforests of The Ocean and Nomads Of The Ocean are conservation documentaries Kat produced in 2003. Both gave her a taste for wildlife filmmaking. Under a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, Kat graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Natural History Filmmaking and Communication from the University of Otago.   —   Read Kat's Blog  —
